First choice for Bajrangi was Aamir; Salman’s next is “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo”

Bajrangi Bhaijaan is a splendid success and is still going strong in the box office. Salman starred movie broke many Boxoffice records and now it is the second highest-grossing Bollywood film of all the time being the Aamir Khan starred PK in the top position. As the new release failed to impress the audience there is possibility that Bajrangi Bhaijaan can break the record set by PK in its life long run.

Coming to the film, Salman portrayed the role of Pawan Kumar Chaturvedi aka Bajrangi who helps a speech-impaired Pakistani girl return to her home in Pakistan.
Now the interesting thing is that first choice for Bajrangi was Aamir Khan. Yes, Bajrangi Bhaijaan was first offered to Aamir Khan. This is revealed by Salman Khan at a press conference and he also added it is Aamir who suggested him. K. V. Vijayendra Prasad who wrote the story as well as the screenplay(co-written) is a father of “Baahubali director” S.S. Rajamouli. Prasad himself wrote the story of Baahubali also. Both his films are doing good business in the box office. Bajrangi Bhaijaan is getting repeated audience and everyone including Bollywood celebrities are praising the movie.

There are also certain reports saying that Aamir had certain issues with the report and wanted some modifications, but Prasad was not happy with that. Also, the report says that Hrithik Roshan was the next one approached for the role. Maybe these all are rumors! Anyway Salman got his biggest hits in his career.
Salman’s next movie is “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo” in which he is appearing in a double role. The family-oriented movie is an emotional one which focus on brother – sister relationship. So according to Salman it will make us cry. So be prepared to cry!
