Kasaba girl Varalakshmi playing the lead with Arjun in the movie of Peruchazhi director!
Arun Vaidyanathan becomes popular in Mollywood through the Malayalam Movie named Peruchazhi written and directed by him with Super Star Mohanlal in the lead in 2014. The film was produced by Sandra Thomas and Vijay Babu under the banner of Friday Film House. Even though the flick had generated only mixed opinions, it had become a box office success due to the star power of Mohanlal here in Kerala. Arun Vaidyanathan earlier did Tamil movie like Achamund Achamund as well which got a great response from all over. Now his next movie is getting ready for release and it will have Arjun, Prasanna, and Varalakshmi in lead roles. Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar is popular here through the character she played in Mammootty starrer Kasaba this year.
Arun Vaidyanathan said that his upcoming movie will be an investigation thriller and will have a different format from the usual investigative thriller movies. It will be a Tamil- Kannada bilingual as well. The post-production works of the movie are going on and the release date will be announced later.
He said that he really want to do Malayalam movies again and love to work with Mohanlal. He said that the shoot of Peruchazhi was just like a picnic and he is still in touch with each and every member of his cast and crew in that movie.
