Pulimuruagn, the Mohanlal starrer action-adventure movie, directed by Vysakh is not only the historical hit in Malayalam Cinema but also making new histories in South Indian Cinema as well. It had already grossed around 120 crores from its worldwide run and thus surpassed the total worldwide collection of South Indian biggies like Thala Ajith’s Vedhalam and Suriya’s Singam 2. Vedhalam had grossed around 115 crores and Singam 2 had grossed around 118 crores as well in its lifetime run. Now, the next target of Pulimurugan will be the final collection of Vijay’s Kaththi, which is around 126 crores. Pulimurugan had achieved this feat before it completes its 50 days run in theaters all over the world and that is amazing.

The total business of the movie is on its way to touch the 150 crore mark and it will become one of the biggest hits ever in South Indian film industry and it will be phenomenal for Malayalam Cinema to do it. It had already grossed over 75 crores from Kerala alone and the final Kerala gross is expected around 85 crores. From UAE/GCC market it had grossed over 31 crores from 16 days and its final gross from there is expected above 35 crores. The Telugu dubbed version of the movie will hit the screens in Andhra and Telangana next week as well.
