Pullikkaran Staraa is the upcoming release of Mega Star Mammootty which will grace the screens on September 1st. Shyam Dhar who had made his debut here in Mollywood 3 years back is directing this movie.

Shyam Dhar’s debut movie was a mystery thriller named 7th Day with Prithviraj in the lead. But this time he is coming up with a complete family comedy entertainer with Mammootty in the lead. Thus, Shyam Dhar’s second direction venture is happening only after 3 years gap.

Debutant writer Ratheesh Ravi had written the screenplay of this movie. In a recent Interview, director Shyam Dhar says that this movie will make everyone happy. Mammootty’s performance in this film is so energetic and the lightness in his character is the unique feature of this movie. He plays a character named Rajakumaran in this flick, who is a witty and tricky teacher.

According to Shyam Dhar, this flick is very positive in all sense. There is no negativity or any villains in this movie. It is all about life and it will show us how to be happy and how to make others happy as well.

B Rakesh had produced this flick under the banner of Universal Cinemas and M Jayachandran had composed the songs for this flick.

Asha Sharath and Deepti Sathi had played the female lead characters in this flick. Innocent and Dileesh Pothen also played key roles in it.
