Mammootty’s Mamankam to start rolling soon; M Padmakumar in the team
Mammootty starrer big budget project Mamankam was in the news for the last few days and it has been creating all kinds of controversies. The creative differences between the director and producer are out in the open and there have been reports that the project may be shelved.
But as of now, the project is on and it will start rolling soon. The team behind the movie is all set to shoot a big battle scene by the end of this month and the preparations are in full swing. But there are some changes in the creative department of the film. Popular director M Padmakumar has been on board to assist Sajeev Pillai, the writer, and director of this movie.
The cameraman Ganesh has been replaced by Manoj Pillai and actor Dhruvan too has been replaced. Now, Unni Mukundan will play that character. Dhruvan had acted in many scenes in the first two schedules of this movie and now all those scenes will be filmed again with Unni Mukundan. There are many other replacements in the technical side of the movie.
lMamankam is the biggest budget movie in Mammootty’s career and it has been producing by Venu Kunnappilly, under the banner of Kavya Films. It is a 45 crore budget movie and they had already spent a whopping 14 crores for the first two schedules.
