Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol repeating Drishyam history!
Mohanlal starrer latest release named Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol is now moving towards becoming one of the all-time biggest blockbusters in Mollywood. This Jibu Jacob directorial movie had grossed over 19.65 crores in just 10 day time as per reports and trade pandits in the industry is of the opinion that this movie is repeating the Drishyam history again in Mollywood. Not just in the box-office, but also in its other language remake possibilities as well.

Mohanlal’s Drishyam had become the first Malayalam Movie to gross over 50 crores from its worldwide run and it was also remade in 4 other Indian languages including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi. Kamala Hasan, Daggubati Venkatesh, Ravichandran and Ajay Devgan had played the lead in the remade versions of Drishyam.

Now, reports are coming in that Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol will also to be remade in languages like Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. In Telugu, Venkatesh wanted to remake it as he loved the movie a lot. In Kannada, Ravichandran who did Drishyam wants to do this movie there.

Jibu Jacob said that his dream is to do the Tamil version of this movie with Super Star Rajinikanth in the lead. He said that he may direct the Tamil version of this flick and other versions will be directed by some others. He wants Meena to do the female lead in the Tamil version as well.
