No Anwar Rasheed-Dulquer Salmaan movie on cards; Earlier reports were fake, says Director!
Yesterday several online medias reported that Master Director Anwar Rasheed is all set to join hands with Dulquer Salmaan again for a movie and in this upcoming movie, Dulquer Salmaan is going to play a police officer character for the first time in his career.
Social Media celebrated this news as Dulquer Salmaan fans and film lovers wish to see Ustad Hotel team uniting once again for a movie.
But later, Anwar Rasheed himself told to media that all those reports were fake and he had no plans as of now to do a movie with Dulquer Salmaan in the lead.
He is now busy with his directorial venture named Trance in which Fahad Fazil is playing the lead. They had completed its first schedule at Kanyakumari and preparing to start the second schedule soon. They are planning to release the movie by next year April. Amal Neerad is the DOP of this movie and Oscar winner Rasool Pokkutty is the sound designer.
Salam Bukhari, who worked as the associate of Anwar Rasheed in his earlier movies, is all set to direct Dulquer next year and in that movie, Dulquer said to be playing a cop. May be this information has been misunderstood by Medias and that’s how the report about Dulquar Salmaan-Anwar Rasheed movie manifested.
Anyway, we can see Dulquer Salmaan as a cop for the very first time in his career in Salam Bukhari directional movie.
