Tovino Thomas to play the lead in Salim Ahamed’s next
Young Star Tovino Thomas is now doing a lot of films with experienced as well as young directors. His upcoming movies like Maradona and Theevandi has been directed by newcomers and Oru Kuprasidha Payyan has been directed by Madhupal.
As per the latest report that is coming in, Tovino will join hands with another popular director this year and that will be national award-winning director Salim Ahamed.
Salim Ahamed had directed 3 films so far, named Adaminte Makan Abu, Kunjananthante Kada, and Pathemari. All these films got great critical appreciation and Adaminte Makan Abu had given him national recognition as well. It has been reported earlier that his next will be a movie named ‘And the Oscar Goes to’ and Dulquer Salmaan has been approached to play the lead.
But the latest info about Salim Ahamed’s next project says that it will be Tovino Thomas who is going to play the lead in it. The director had confirmed it to the media but he did not say whether it is the same project which he planned with Dulquer Salmaan in the lead. His new film may start rolling without much delay and more details about this project expected to be announced soon.
