Trisha Krishnan opted out from Saamy 2 due to creative differences
Fans and film lovers are pretty much excited about the project Saamy 2, starring Chiyan Vikram and directing by Hari. As you all know, this is the sequel to the super hit movie Saamy by Hari, which was released in the year 2003. It was a movie that had given a big break to Vikram. Trisha played the female lead in it.
In its sequel also, the team behind the movie had roped in Trisha to play the female lead, along with Keerthy Suresh who is a new entry to the cast list of this movie. But now, Trisha officially announced through her Twitter account that she has been opted out from this project due to some creative differences and she wished the entire team good luck as well.
Shibu Thameens who had produced big Tamil movies like Puli and Irumugan will bankroll this project and it will start rolling once Vikram finishes his work in Gautham Menon’s Dhruva Natchathiram. His next release will be Sketch directed by Vijay Chander and its first teaser had already gone viral on social media.
Trisha had recently made her debut in Mollywood through a Nivin Pauly- Shyama Prasad movie named Hey Jude, which is yet to grace the screens. As per reports, she has been roped in to play an important character in the upcoming biggie starred by Complete Actor Mohanlal. It will be directed by Bollywood director Ajoy Varma.
