Vijay Deverakonda to play Mammootty’s son in Yatra
Mega Star Mammootty is playing the lead role in the Telugu Movie named Yatra, which will tell the life story of YS Rajasekhara Reddy. This biopic of the Late Andhra Chief Minister has been directing by Mahi V Raghav and the team behind the movie is planning to release it on December 21st this year. Now, a report is coming in that the sensational Vijay Deverakonda has been roped in to play Jagan Mohan Reddy, son of YSR, in Yatra.
Earlier there were reports which told that Tamil actor Karthi is going to play this character. But now, Telugu Medias report that Vijay Deverakonda has been approached with the offer to play the role. He is very popular among youngsters here in Kerala as well, through his movies like Arjun Reddy and Geetha Govindam.
Yatra has been planned to release on the 9th January next year. But now they have changed the release date to 2018 December 21st and it is the birthday of Jagan Mohan Reddy. Mammootty is acting in Telugu after long years and he is looking forward to scoring his first box office success in this language.
Apart from Mammootty, artists like Ashritha, Jagapathi Babu, Suhasini, Anasuya, Jeeva, Rao Ramesh, Sachin Khedekar, Vinod Kumar, Posani Krishna Murali etc too playing important characters
